Byline!

I get a byline in the next quarterly publication put out by the publishing company I work for! Once it's out I'll share more information, but for now I'm just excited to have this to share. The editorial intern and I shared the task, including interviewing the artist together. The editor decided to try to combine both versions of the story ...not an easy feat since our writing styles are vastly different. He did a great job! A large percentage of my original story was kept intact, and I added some additional bits after the fact. I'm proud of the final story, and the artist is practically ecstatic after having been given a preview of it.

I have been more and more involved with the publishing side of the business in recent weeks due to a few personnel changes. It's been quite exciting for me. I always like a new and interesting challenge.
